Dolls and Droids
My two new favourite toys. First up, meet Pippi Longstockings: The Adult Years. Yes, this is a grown up Pippi Longstockings, for sure. This Pippi still loves high seas and high-jinks, but she is also content to stay at home and do a spot of knitting when the days are cooler. She shops vintage and favours Green tea with a dash of lemon. I think she would quite like a boyfriend (hint hint, Dee), but she is content to be a solo lass for now. Pippi has a secret other life that includes a few golden adventures of her own, but I wouldn't know much about that, it being secret and all. Oh, and she's not letting poor eyesight stop her either, bespectacled ladies (and gents) unite! She gained spectacles after a wee eyebrow mishap. I hereby predict that she will become 'mama' doll to a certain little one.
Second new favourite toy, Polodroid! Um, wow. This is the most fun application I have ever had the delight of discovering. I needed something like this for an idea I'm working on. I just didn't expect it to be so much fun! Almost as fun as the real thing. Almost. Granted the images don't have exactly the same quality as a real poloroid, but they do a better job than Picnik anyway.
As you can see, Eleanor's been doing some drawing too. Hard to say whether she has an artistic bent just yet.
